Rep. Diane Black takes to the House floor to call on the U.S. Senate to join the House in passing a full-year payroll tax holiday package instead of the two-month band-aid the Senate passed. More certainty is needed for our struggling economy than two month tax policy.

  • 2 months is a long time to go paying extra taxes and losing unemployment. You are a joke, you care nothing for the middle and working class. If congress really cared their motto wouldn't be make Obama a one term president. It would be how can we really help the middle and working class people of our country. I am frustrated with you and your Tea Party who favor the rich and harm the general public.

  • Dear Cong. Black,

After taking a hit when the tea party caused the US credit downgrade....... and now your action to effetively delay Christmas for working folk who lack your wealth and priviledge...... cause me to wonder why I have voted Republican since 2000.

    Respectfully yours,

    a retired constituent
