Too bad they all wear articles of clothing made in sweatshops from Asia....just give them 30 years, their "culture" will be little more than an accent, a few nostalgic holiday traditions and the occasional turn of phrase. Once indigenous material production ceases, then so also fades the cultural production that was indigenous.

However, the technocratic surveillance state is sure to maximize its value extraction by seizing all the land and then locking up those that try to organize on their own behalf to cultivate it and survive outside of the wage system. Anyway, I read too much about atrocities, secret deals and exploitation. I surely hope you are right!

@kaapors Indeed. Don't just teach your children your language and dances...continue to teach them how to sew, hunt, farm and carve wares. Good luck with that while all your land is bought up by financiers who will establish plantations and logging grounds on which you will be forced to work as wage slaves...or go to the factories and slave even harder for a few more cents: then, in the Western newspapers they will claim the child slaveshops are "improving opportunities for destitute natives."
