@RomneyPHONY same months as america, just rare to find
-
@RomneyPHONY good selections when available, the hard part is finding a stall in england that sells this stuff, quite rare.

@blacklightfreakout I live in OC and always shop for organic produce at Asian
stores like "99 Ranch Market" (in Irvine) or Jordan Market (Laguna Hills). Check them out if you're in the area. Believe me, ethnic markets are the way to go for quality and great prices.

@kimmijo, some of the prices are high. maybe because it is california where everything is expensive in the first place.
-
americans are very fortunate, no chance in hell you get that quality of produce in the UK

I checked out the Santa Monica Farmer's Market after running the last half of the L.A. Marathon course preparing for the 2010 race (I finished 6th in the actual event and qualified for both Boston & New York in 2011). The market's produce did look good but was absurdly expensive. The local freaks were bizarre and beggars were whiny and everywhere. Funny how people incapable of supporting themselves are somehow bright enough to lite like flies on a place like Santa Monica.

are those all organic??!!
Thanks for the sweet tour DanMan! :D
Those prices are high -- 3 small cartons of strawberries for $11?
$2 for just one bunch of cilantro?
I'd go broke shopping there.
You can buy beautiful organic produce cheap at most ethnic markets where the cilantro is usually 5/$1 and avacados are 50 cents each.
