To Ben, explain to me why you would insist on a government sponsored program, rather than a private plan that was regulated by the government. When a company screws up or is corrupt, people get fired, go to jail and are forced to repay. When the government screws up, at best someone doesn't get re-elected or gets pardoned by their party support, and it gets chalked up as "poor budget planning".

You want to hand over 1/6th of the Economy to the most fiscally irresponsible entity in the US?

The higher cognitively functioning BARBARIANS usually can pick up at least 2 points from my posts:

1. It's time to get that GED you always wanted when you start to make up words and vocabulary

2. Socialized Healthcare is a Teabagger word and has nothing to do with the 21st Century. So calling it that gains no creditable respect form me. Additionally, blaming Bush is an execise in frustration for us since you can't fix what is wrong without acknowledging that it took place!

It's interesting to me that you would attempt to insult the people with GEDs since the majority of them are supporters of the Democrat party. "Socialized Healthcare" is a phrase, not a word. I would guess you're probably fairly young, maybe at best 20. No point really arguing with you since you don't even know what the last proposed bill even consists of.

Umm, I'm not sure if you're joking or not... but the VA does have substandard health care. Most of the facilities are extremely outdated, and in South Florida three vets got AIDS because they even reused a needle. The paint is peeling off the building down here. Next you're going to tell me that the Post Office makes a profit???

As for errors, every hospital system has errors, name a perfect one? Who takes care of more peps?

Remember the VA is run by the Military YOU LOVE! So you can't have it both ways where you appreciate their sacrifice then say they are idiot buffoons with their own healthcare. Or is that what you really want to say? Remember Fort Hood? Was it the governments fault OR a bunch of idiot higher-up Military doctors?
