The USS Missouri

One of the highlights of my trip was taking a guided tour of the USS Missouri Battleship aka "The Mighty Mo". On my two previous visits to Hawaii I had visited the USS Arizona Memorial. While those visits were extremely special, perhaps even sacred, this time around I decided to tour the large ship that sits next door.

This video is a salute to and small token of my tremendous appreciation for all of the brave men & women who are serving and have served in the U.S. Navy. God Bless You All!

Just seeing this video, I am reminded of my 3 1/2 years that I spent on the Mighty Mo. It was the best years of my life. I last toured the ship again in 2001. I have to say it was awesome to walk those decks again. I was aboard in Desert Storm, part of the Decommissioning crew. While it was in service, I was part of the Missouri Color Guard. I stood on top of turret 2 with the Navy flag while entering and or leaving port. Ahhhh, good times. Good job with the video.
