I filmed my Super 8 version of Star Wars and roughly dubbed some music and dialog. It is impossible to get things truly synched up because the film runs a lot slower than the DVD.
I have been putting off learning to use the new version of IMovie, so this is my test.
@suttonguy I'm pretty sure I also had a 17min (or so) "part 1" version in additon to the "part 2" you mentioned. I had spliced them together combinded with this 10-minute posted verion for a 45 minute cutdown version with sound.

@MrStephenRGilman Yup. Weird, huh? It has sound, too but I don't have a sound projector. The sound here is just slapped on from the movie or the score recording, but it doesn't stay in synch because the film is at a different speed.

i remember this super 8 digest, which i have myself.(there was also a second digest,or part 2,the second part showed the death star battle and finale) this was available to buy before the actual film itself was released in cinemas...bizarre..so if you spliced the two together, you had a 35 minute cut down version of the film..i remember they also released a super 8 digest version of raiders of the lost ark(which i also have),which was available long before it ever appeared on vhs.

Was this the Ken Films version of Star Wars? I am surprised that they missed the opening scene.
