80% of the world is intact. Circumcised men get laughed at in other countries. Most studies show that women prefer an intact partner. The "main" nerves are in the foreskin. Do some research.

The majority of mutilated women can still orgasm.
It's done on both sexes for the same reasons: hygiene, conformity, aesthetic.
Circumcision was historcally started to reduce sexual pleasure.
Try doing actual research instead of relying on biased propaganda.

Name one medical organization in the world who recommends circumcision and I'll name 10 who don't because they all seem to agree the medical benefits are trivial bullshit.

@fadmucker08, I'm trying to end both FGM and MGM. If you've got nothing but insults to dish out, you're doing A LOT LESS than I am to end FGM. You seem like a mutilated guy, who doesn't like to be reminded.

@psandbergnz Move me dickwad. I think it's time you did. If you actually read through our comments you'll see that mine are fuelled by trying to do something positive about fgm, whereas all you've talked about is your issues. This is a page for fgm, people are trying to help end it, and gain knowledge of how they can do that. You're getting in the way with your dribble. I wont respond again as this page is being wasted, which I think is your agenda. Stop being mean, go to a mgm page, be happy,

@fadmucker08, I think it's high time you moved on, and stopped trying to dominate this site with comments without substance.
The practice of circumcision in Islam comes from the Hadith, Shariah law and the consensus of Islamic communities.
The Hadith
Narrated Umm Atiyyah al-Ansariyyah: A woman used to perform circumcision in Medina. The Prophet said to her: Do not cut severely as that is better for a woman and more desirable for a husband. (Sunan Abu-Dawud: book 41, number 5251, Hasan)

The Shariah
The following reference to Shariah law comes from Ahmad ibn Naqib al-Misri, Reliance of the Traveller - A Classic Manual of Islamic Sacred Law. This book comes with the approval al-Azhar University.
Al-Azhar University ( الأزهر الشريف) is the leading institution for Sunni learning in the Islamic world.

e4.3 [Translated from Arabic] Circumcision is obligatory (for every male and female) by cutting off the piece of skin on the glans of the penis of the male, but circumcision of the female is by cutting out the clitoris (this is called khufaad).
