allandiablo is correct. The '640' in LP640 is measured in PS. Actual HP is slightly less.

The most important thing is power to weight ratio, not HP.

just cause a car has more HP doesnt mean its faster then a car with less. I had a 65vw bug with 150HP and walked on Z-06 corvettes.

The number 640 doesnt correlate to the hp moron.

So if the LP640 only makes 631 HP then the SLR must have less too. BHP is a bitch.
