  • Very nice job.

  • @devildoc225 Thanks:)

  • What an absolute treat this is watching, I loved it! I'm surprised this doesn't have more hits.

  • @Publisher33 Wow, thanks for the nice comment. We have done similar to the remainder of our cottage, gone back to a rotary phone, fireplaces, cabinetsetc., even my car....ha...cheers:)

  • we have furniture too, we were renting a older house and had to move out, our old kitchen was small but in top condition unmolestored apart from the hot water tap and we had our a big 57 crossley shelvador in there, looked cool then when we moved out the landlord ripped it all out and put in a new kitchen. we are now in a 80's house with 50's fridge and furniture wich doesnt really look rite.

  • @FCCOOL Mate, that would break your heart knowing that the old kitchen was trashed like that..damn,! , I'm envious that you have an a classic Crosley by the way......ironically, that's what we're missing right now..Lol... That's our next purchase but not just yet...they are $2,000 restored so there's no great rush right now...

    Cheers mate...

  • Very nice. ..I´ve seen some retro fridges in store, I am not sure if it is the right period, but the smeg (or something like that) look very nice. My sister got one, but in very modern colour..

  • @fjbutch we where lucky, the fridge we had before was too small, it was a old president from the early fifties, i came across the fridge on ebay, found someone was selling everything out of his dads house that was purchased after they built a house in 1957 so half the furniture in the house was from 57 and had been well looked after, we paid about $50 for it in such condition that it didnt need restoring, i just ran a buff over it,unfortunately but i have now cracked the dairy bar door.
