@4SCARECROWS That woman was Dinah Shore. She starred in her own music and variety shows in the '50s and '60s and hosting two talk shows in the '70s. She's died in 1994.

The first Chevy ad featured their two super-salespeople on TV at the time, Pat Boone ["CHEVY SHOWROOM", ABC, Thursday nights] and Dinah Shore ["CHEVY SHOW", NBC, Sunday nights], joining forces to present a "subliminal" pitch for their sponsor....
