I totally agree with you Bushrraf, can you imagine the enviorament that would have existed thousands of years back in india.these kind of art and culture at its peak and growing. then came the invasions of the minds ,soul and land. we only see all going in flames and smoke.this man made machanisum has a strong anchorage..he 'God ' never complains its man who interprates them all to their convinience. let music be devine.lets live in harmony with ancient ties. renga
I heard them first about 5yrs back in Mahanandi (Andhrapradesh, India), on MahaShivarathri day. It was an awesome concert, 4+ hrs in the night (right after my concert nearby (violin accompaniment for vocal), starting about 10pm ending much late after 2am. a Great kalyani and a great Abheri that day. and the best of the whole thing was the Bhaja govindam..Mudamathe... That was so great a concert, it still rings in my ears. god give long life to this couple and their music.
Fantastic little clip! I saw their Madras concert and boy were they good.
