Wild foraging for Ramps in the Catskills with Tom Cushwa, Jean, Ward and his son Eero. Ramps are wild leeks and are in the onion family. Commonly known as Ramps, Spring Onions, Ramsons, or wild Leeks. Ramps come up in April for a couple of weeks so ya gotta get 'em while you can. We had fun.

  • You should make sure you do not take too many in the future. Ramps are nearly extinct in some parts of Canada and are growing rarer in america. Make sure you only pick a few.
