  • Did you sell this to another creitn that had no mechanical ability? Jesus christ, there's so much wrong I don't know where to start. I wonder how much you took off the poor sap you sold it to.

  • @chunkyfecalbreakfast care to elaborate on some of the wrong points?

  • @ruuman massive valve noise at the start; what the hell is that vibrating at 0:18 and around the 1:00 mark? Rear suspension is way too high, its rear wheel drive ffs; engine sounds like a diesel a 1:21; fully adjustable suspension is tubing with some holes drilled through and a single nylock holding it in place, is this why you couldnt get it SVA'd? Engine is racing at 1:05 - 1:20, vacuum leak? This is without even seeing the vehicle "in person" as it were.

  • @chunkyfecalbreakfast Right, first noise is the undamped pacet solid state fuel pump which was waiting for a new mounts. Rattling noise was the exhaust clamp due to it only being trial fitted and waiting a heat shield. As for diesel sound.. hmm could that be the diesel Skoda in the background.

As for riding too high, it's up at top level so it goes on and the trailer, it's not a finished car and takes all of 10mins to lower the ride height..

  • @ruuman Further more, this chassis was purchased rolling from the factory, I'll agree it's not an elegant system. But Robinhood had been SVA'ing tons of these for years. Show me the section and paragraph where it would fail.

As for vacuum leak, do you really think it it would start and drive away like that, could it be the change of intake and exhaust might require the tick-over being slightly adjusted!!

I love how you can come to such shorted sighted conclusions without the original ebay ad.

  • I sold it many because I didn't have the time to finish it with all my other projects. I'll send you an e-mail with a detailed lowdown of how I found it. in a bit

  • cheers, just out of interset why did you sell?

I had a Sylva Striker before that was built by a good mate of mine. I dont want to buy a naff kit and really like the look of the RH but would like some feedback from owners before I part with £4000!

  • Hi mate, I sold this months ago, it was about 75% complete, good luck with building yours.

  • I'm looking to build one of these! Where abouts in the UK are you and how close are you to finishing?

    Cheers

    Stuart

  • you can buy it pre made or in kit form, you need a for sierra for engine, g-box and rear axle.
