@1888gp what???? he sings it like Steve Earle....he is the best songwriter/singer alive today, in my humble opinion,but i've been a fan for 20 plus years...you need to try and he catch him on his current tour, if he's near wherver you live...Steve Earle live is something else alltogether....

this is the best live performance i have ever seen him do, what a great writer, musician and producer he is. This is music yall pay attention this crap u hear on the radio dont compare. A man his gutair and harmonica that is real music bravo steve great performance.

Thanks for posting this. I'd never seen this footage before. The Rain Came Down has ALWAYS been one of my favorite Steve Earle tunes! I used to live in Champaign, Illinios and it wasn't too far from there where my grandparent's farm used to be.
