In 1996 the BBC ran this trailer extolling the fact that the BBC believes great comedy comes from allowing people to take risks. In the style of a "coming up this autumn" type of trailer, it features Reeves and Mortimer in a series of spoof shows such as "Detective in a Wheelbarrow", "Three Blokes in a Bath" and "Poldark on Mopeds". All funded by your licence fee. Remember folks, you make the BBC what it is.

  • BBC = HYPOCRITES !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Kind of misses that Channel 4 were the ones to first give them a series though. it's easy to forget that although CH4 is just reality shows and terrible comedy now it used to be very innovative. They were running the Comic Strip Presents a few years after the BBC were trying to live down the Black and White Minstrel Show.
