@VancouverChokers The Flames were just a mere goal away in overtime of Game 6.They lost at the end of the day and it was disheartening, granted, but a gallant effort, nevertheless, and it was well beyond what I expected of them when the playoffs started.

@landrykkb I guess my point is, it's one thing to lose but to be one game away and to never hold a lead, never be in a position to win...that's got to be disheartening. I guess another point I'm trying to make is that the Flames came out flat in a lot of home games where they had a chance to put the other team away. They let a 3-2 lead slip in the first round and had to go to game 7, gave up a 2-0 lead against the Sharks (with both wins on the road) and let a 3-2 lead get away in this series.
-
@VancouverChokers What difference does that make? When you lose, you lose;lead or otherwise!
-
@landrykkb Right. If you want to blame anyone for that game blame the Flames for coming out flat. They didn't hold a lead at all in either game 6 or game 7.
-
can you imagine how fucking insane the dome woulda been if they scored in overtime? brings back so many memories
-
@NessMencesal I can blame it on Luongo AND the refs. You can't say the refs didn't do anything bad for us that cost them a lot that series.
-
@WhiteSugarFive Canucks got steamrolled in four games, can't blame that on the refs.
-
@NessMencesal And the Canucks last year.

@numberoneJATT Hey,I'm a Flames fan too,but don't forget that this was in regulation and even if the Gelinas goal had counted,Tampa Bay still had roughly 4 minutes to answer it.
THAT WAS A GOAL.
That showed that the refs are taught to be biased against Canadian teams (several no goal calls against Vancouver in 1994, etc.)

@oilers000 YA Oilers lost in their play-off run in 2006 and were last in the western conference this year :D
