The movie is a portrayed in what is known a farce mode, a light, sometimes humorous play in which the plot depends upon a skilfully exploited situation rather than upon the development of a character. Like a mockery of Crystal Meth addiction. It is obvious that this is the intention of the director, in order to allow the message to get to the viewer. And I think it does, in a certain way. If Akerlund would have wanted a drama of Tweek addictiton, maybe he would have made a documentary about it.
