A seven dollar eBay 405nm sold as a 5mW pointer. When I metered it, it put out 38mW. I cut the barrel down and replaced the two AAA's with a single 10440 ultrafire lithium. I focused the lens for a pinpoint dot and remetered with a laserbee II and it made a steady 56mW. Here is the result.

@DGAF2000 what? 405nm diodes dont emit IR light... that only happens with DPSS lasers
