Before getting too up in arms about this, try to remember that the chant isn't meant to be any kind of racial slur, it is just banter, similar to how Aussies would "affectionately" call the English "pommie b@stards"!

@bradford8487 The thing is, basically no one descended from these convicts. Most people who live in Australia have either come from another country or have descended from more recent immigrants, whether it be parents, grandparents, ect. The only people who would have been here for many generations would be decendants of Aboriginals or of the rich Europeans who came here shortly after the convicts.
