@alicemay95 Do you have the clear retainer? I do, and my orthodontist said it was normal. You have to get used to it for awhile. :)

wow i think im almost gettin my braces off like 2-3 more months bcz i have had the top since december 15 2007 i believe and bottom on january 14 or 15 2008

@alicemay95 Yes it kinda sounds like I have a lisp when I wear my retainer but I dont mind because I only have to wear my retauner to bed. If you have to wear it all the time then I think your lisp would go away after a while.
