The idea for this video came about after I'd found out that Final Fight, one of my favorite video game series, was actually inspired by an 80's movie called "Streets of Fire". The movie itself wasn't bad and it definitely had a lot of similarities to the game (a hero named "Cody" who is especially good with knives and has to rescue his kidnapped Girlfriend from a gang, just for starters).
It was a bit surreal with the first panel of the movie actually saying: "Another Time, Another Place", which I borrowed for the intro of this video. It was called "a rock and roll fable" and as such had some pretty good music throughout.
The song I used for this video makes it not only a tribute to Final Fight but also to Streets of Fire itself as the song used is the first one you hear in the movie. It's called "Nowhere Fast" and honestly it fits perfectly with the storyline of the characters from Metro City. Luckily I own all the games in the series so I can show that a bit better lol
In this video I tried really hard to use clips that went perfectly with the lyrics and displayed how for all the things that every character did they all ended up back in Metro City (some worse off then others) and in essence really did end up going "Nowhere Fast".. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
Regardless if you're a fan of Final Fight you really should check out the movie Streets of Fire. I can pretty much guarantee your enjoyment.
And if you want more info on the similarities between Final Fight and Streets of Fire you can google both of those names together and get some great sites as well as the interview where it was stated that the movie was the inspiration behind the game.
Here's also a good place to start:

Hope you enjoy the video and look out for a Hugo (Andore) one coming soon!

It's from the GBA port of Final Fight. It's called Final Fight One and in it you can unlock the alpha versions of both Guy and Cody.
