This violin is a family heirloom that is owned by a professional player who wanted the instrument restored. It is a commercial German instrument, ---but it was, "Granddad's!"
In addition to the rib graft, the back table had a terrible warp from a chinrest that was squeezed for half a century, unglued blocks, and a really thick bass bar. Like a barn beam.
When the job was completed, with a new post, bridge, and Helicore heavy tension strings,......it really did ring like a bell. And this shop can do this, and much more, for you!
Very nice work!
