She adored Miles. They were the best of friends.  Even these many years after his death, when she speaks of him she gets really, really emotional. Miles was great. Chaka is great.

Miles loved her, you can see it. He also loved that she knew the song Ella Fitzgerald made famous, and that he often quoted in his version of Human Nature.
