  • Develop your double tongue. You're playing with too much of the "T-K" articulation. Go for more of the "D-G" method. Double/triple tongue shouldn't hinder the stream of air. As it is, it sounds like many little blasts of air rather than audible notes. Apply what you do in method books to what you play. Keep practicing!
