Hi, there is no need to remove both trigger pins only the first one with the circlip.
I replaced the spring with one from a Bic Ball Point Pen ($1.00 for 5 pens in Aus)and before fiting it I reduced its size by 5 coils. The original spring is removed by unsrewing it in its housing and the Bic spring is screwed in the same way. Trigger pull is reduced to 2.5 pounds. Have done this modification useing the same spring on a Mossberg ATR and it also works excellent with same pull.

haha i was at dominion outdoors on thursday febuary 29 and i saw that same .50 cal shell!!

@hondaredrider, hard to say sometimes as bad as 6-8" groups with Federal American Eagle FMJ. Find the right ammo and you're safe.

@DominionOutdoorsCo any idea what can be expected with cheap bulk ammo?
-
@hondaredrider, mine's a .223 Rem. I have shot a 0.35" 3 shot group at 100 yards with Black Hills 50g. V-Max. The gun can be a 'picky eater'. My average is .8-1" groups with handloads but I'm still learning. Use the right ammo or handloads and you'll be under 1"...I would bet on it.

@DominionOutdoorsCo what caliber? I want to get this gun in 22-250, but some say half inch @ 100, others are saying youll be lucky to get close to an inch. I dont have a whole lot of money to spend, and if I could pick up a rifle that could hit half inch groups out of the box (or with minor adjustments) without breaking the bank i'd be very happy

@saysonny as long as you're happy with it. I lucked in with mine as the trigger is right where i want it with just screwing it in more. With your spring screwed all the way in, yes you could easily screw it out to fine tune it. I like this rifle, mine appears to shoot fine. Its well worth the $249 (can) i paid for it.

I tried this method and my spring was already screwed into the trigger as far as it would go. However, I did do as the poster of this video did and just cut about 1 1/2 coil off. I figure if it were to be too light, I could always screw the spring out and it would regain stiffness again. I really like it with it cut down like it is. I did some hard bolt closes and hit the butt of the gun on the floor and it is still safe. This is going to be fantastic, think I'll shoot it tomorrow!!!

Oops I meant to say I cut about 1 3/4 rings off. I also shimmed the side of the trigger with a very small washer, really helps take the slop out of the trigger.
I have the same one and hated that it wasso hard to pull the trigger !! Did what u did to mine and love the results . Thanks
