Economic Summit

The "Dayton, Ohio Economic Summit on the Revitalization of Manufacturing" brought business, labor and agriculture leaders together to develop a unified position on how to create jobs and economic development in the Dayton and western Ohio region. The Summit was held Friday, October 7, at the Dayton Convention Center. The Summit was sponsored by the Ohio Chapter of the Coalition for a Prosperous America. The co-sponsors include: American Mold Builders Association, City of Dayton, Copper and Brass Fabricators Council, Dayton Building & Construction Trades Council, Dayton Development Coalition, Dayton Miami Valley AFL-CIO Labor Council, Dayton Montgomery County Port Authority, Dayton Phoenix Company, Economy in Crisis, HARCO Manufacturing Group, Montgomery County, NAACP, Ohio Farmers Union Oxford Region, Steel Manufacturing Association, and the Tooling, Manufacturing & Technologies Association.
