This is a scene from the built for the kill episode, "Desert". Both scorpions and spiders are ferocious killers, but one cunning predators knows how to take them on. Its the Grasshopper Mouse, and its not scared of these creatures at all.

the chuck norris of mice haha ... that mouse has skills! then again it helps that its immune to their venom but even still nice tactics avoiding the stings and bites :)

I'm reminded of that annoying-ass little mouse from Sylvester & Tweety's shorts in Looney Tunes. He's always chainsaw-nomming on Sylvester's tail, kinda like this grashopper mouse does here :D

Only the grasshopper mouse makes the shrill howl. Pack rats really aren't into fighting scorpions and tarantulas for a living....they mainly eat vegetable matter.

Great footage. Good to see the "mouse" win for a change although I think that's really a pack rat.
