Fighting For Lives - Prt 2

A short documentary providing an insight in to the workings of Dublin Fire Brigade. Through interviews with various firefighters, the day-to-day and personal aspects of the job are portrayed alongside dramatic action of these men and women at work.

Completed as a group TV project in our final year obtaining a diploma in Media Production in Coláiste Dhúlaigh.

HELLO!!!!! what ever happened to service to the public! im a officer, and a trained EMT, not a yank, UK born, bred and trained. its not about the retained, or the regulars, when the shit hits the fan, lives are at risk the PUBLIC WHO PAY OUR WAGES dont care if its wholetime or regular just as long a crew turn up and do the job. i treat eveyone on my team retained or wholetime the same. grow up they do a sterling job.

dublin is boring.... dublin fire brigades are glorified ambulances... get a good 600 fire calls a year retained station job... much much better....
