@Icelandicishnese Depending on color of pen yes. water colors are like very transparent. so black lines will show. alot of books and such reccomend using a blue pencil outline.

@ayang005 Some things that could help/ prevent it from shriveling:

1. Weight down the corners of your paper while painting

2. (If 1 doesnt work) Wait until the painting dries and then lay it in a large/heavy book

3. (If you dont have a large/heavy book) Spray it VERY VERY VERY VERY lightly with cool water and then press under something.
