  • Actually there is, it's behind where the camera is, in the shade. When she has one of her episodes she won't drink until she's cooled down (about 10 minutes.)

  • There are some people saying this is heat exhaustion, probably due to a genetic mutation that is not allowing a dog to properly utilize internal cooling resources, and others who believe this is a variation of Hunting dog Hypoglycemia.

    Would be interesting if someone who has a dog that does this somewhat consistently would try feeding some glucose treats beforehand and seeing if that delayed or reduced the number of episodes on average.

  • My collie is the same he wont drink straight away either . He is just 2 and had his first episode about 2 months ago. Before that he would retrieve a ball for an hour and never get tired.

  • Why isn't there any water available for this dog????
