Cello TEACHER??? Dizzying?? Can we have our money back for false advertising???
For those asking, the slurs are there in a number of editions (esp Peters from around the 40s/50s) and a lot of cellists still play in this outdated 'romantic' form.
Look for a masterclass video of Casals - even he played with slurs, but that was recorded in the 60s and was going out of style even back then.

Why is she slurring every bar the same? Not a great performance I have to say. Did she say the 6th Suite... because that was the prelude from the 1st suite in G. If you want to hear how this should be done get a copy of YO-YO-MA playing the cello suites... it will blow your sides away!
