me and my girlfriend listen to this song when ever we have trouble with each others past.. It makes me cry every time whether she is with me or not.. But It really helps us remember that our love is different because God is a part of it and will hold us together in ways we could'nt on our own. he puts us in a place in each others hearts that only we can go..

They ARE a Christian band and ARE Christian men... that doesn't mean THIS song is about God... anyone can relate "love" to Jesus... but i promise you, this song is not about that. It's JUST a love song between a man and a woman.

No one has to PROVE their love to Jesus. He just knows you love him and he loves you back. But PEOPLE feel they have to PROVE their love to one another.

Not related to it anymore. Just listen to the lyrics. "I can't bring you fortune or noble life, but I'll love you all I can" don't you think that line applies to another human being?? Why would he want to bring God fortune?

the beginning of the song clearly states 'We Are Born To Love HIM' now unless he is singing about a mALE loving a mALE using the "We" as a masculine metaphor for his self and or all OTHER mALES so therefore I do believe this song to be about JESUS but WOW be nice just for the sake of conversation if the writer would weigh in keeping in mind we should respect everyone opinion on what they interpted the song to mean to them without being nasty one to another after all the song is all about LOVE
