  • That "S" spring is what is holding the "C" clips in place and the Haynes manual and your video don't even mention that spring. Any ideas about getting the spring out and then the "C" clips?

    You must have a different version There is no spring holding the C clip that retains the Axel shaft. This one has a half inch shaft between the spiders that stops the axle from moving in and releasing the c Clip

  • My 2002 CVPI has some sort of "S" spring between the shafts. Will that spring out and hit me in the head if I turn the axle(s) too much?
