Voter ID Coalitions, Community Brainstorm July 23, 2011

The voter suppression bill passed in Wisconsin has raised many concerns for members of the Southeastern section of the state. Members of various coalitions focused on advocating for those challenged to gain access to ID's have come together to improve the outreach to communities lacking approved identification for voting. Several populations will be affected by this legislation. Here at Community Brainstorming, one of Milwaukee's longest running open forums, we will discuss this issue with elected officials, service providers, and concerned citizens from the area and the state.
