  • Eric, thank you a well documented pro qualityvideo. Now I have the confidence to replace the axles on my 145,000 mile Toyota Corolla.

  • Hey Eric, I've got a special lady I'm trying to impress and she needs her cv joints (axle shaft also no?) replaced on her 2005 Accord 2.4 manual. Will this still apply?

  • Hey, I'll be replacing my passenger side drive axle on my 95 honda accord this weekend, I know I'll have to refill the transmission fluid, but should I drain it before removing the axle? or should I just take it out and let it leak out when I take it out? (I figure it's the first one, but I wanted your opinion)

  • @hugoray Thanks man, I actually did the replacement! My car drives like new! Thanks to ericthecarguy too. The replacment wasnt too bad.

  • @goosemuerte I believe he was staking the top of the nut back in so it doesn't twist off and come loose on its own. (My corolla's axle nut is staked in the same way). The top portion of the nut is soft enought to stake/unstake with a hammer and chisel/punch.

  • You might want to list what model of vehicle you are working on.

  • When you buy new axles, does the cv boot and the assembly done and completed?

  • gracias asi boy a arreglar trocoa

  • do you have any videos on carbs
