this is a replica! i can tell because my friend has one its looks virtually the same as the real one but the difference is in the materials the real one uses saphire crystal glass and the fake uses cheap glass.

Mick, the Carrera is a pure automatic whereas the Calibre S is a hybrid. Automatics 'sweep' whereas quartz and now hybrids 'tick'. Here is something from a Tag press release.
"The Link Calibre S is particularly innovative, it is a new generation of hybrid electro-mechanical movements that is neither quartz nor automatic. In short, the Calibre S is a mechanical movement with the precision of quartz."
