a good video but the bit about crews only being able to commit when there are two pumps there is untrue. we can enter a building with one pump in attendance, its not ideal but we will if we need to save a life. Also if the pump from guildford has gone to a fire in Woking control will move a pump from another station to "stand by" at guildford ie from godalming or cranliegh.

@jamieirving13 This is true about the stand by-but because of all the other cuts elsewhere there just simply wouldn't be enough pumps to go around. I based this video on the crew that i know about, and that crew will not send a fireman inside until they have backup, as there is no good having two casualties-one of them being a trained fireman who also has a family. Anyway this policy has now been called under review-i just hope they make the right decision. Thank you for your support!
