That's an interesting point of view, one I have heard many times. In fact, before reading the book of Acts, I might have actually believed it. However, Acts 8:26-40 clearly shows Philip sharing the Gospel with an Ethiopian eunuch. Also, secular history confirms Christianity as a state religion in Ethiopia in 330 AD under King Ezana the Great. No slave trade involved, just the Holy Spirit. Peace.
