  • Why people don't make stuff that great anymore?

  • The greatest stuff have already been done by Mark Knopfler, so nobody can make better music. That's the reason. So I guess everyone can put down their guitars and dreams about writing the best songs, because nobody will be able to do that. I think I go and throw away my guitar right now, yeah, I do it.

  • @DogSwede1 Uhaaaa!!!!! man, you are great! how can u get this videos man!? they are awesome! i only can say thanks, you make all fans of that histirical group really really happy, thanks a lot

  • The "old greys" were studio staff, security etc. Producers knew that if they heard the staff whistling tunes they had heard around the place then they had a hit on their hands. Hence Old Grey Whistle Test. Sounds unlikely, but I heard it from the original producer on a BBC radio show about the OGWT.

  • Man this is too good, im in heaven. Can you imagine how good this must have sounded live and in person

  • 3:00 - 3:09... Wow!

  • @olmusiclover Was a TV show broadcast by BBC.

  • With hands like that.....his wife/girlfriend is a lucky woman. :-)

  • Handsom haircut.;)

    Superb performance!

  • This one of many things great that were done at the Old Grey Whistle - Emmylou, Skynyrd, who knows what all - available here on the Tube. Excuse my ignorance, is/was the Whistle a club or a recording studio, or just what?

  • Mark needs to get Pick back on the drums, his brother David on rythm and John Islley for bass and do Sultans of Swing again.
