Always had my SM buddies (wolves 13th co., Death co., And blk temps) tell me i dont wanna bring in the banshees cuz i wouldnt survive combat... but the more i see these (btw i am so blushing over Joe's mastery) the more confident I'm becoming that i can use my fire dragons, avengers and banshees to ride around in serpents with EMLs instead of reapers (had to do that in an all infantry battle; i got crushed (still learning) by wolves w/ 3 priests ouch) but my reapers and scorps kicked ass)

Dart out of combat? Sure they can, when they kill stuff or run away, they don't have hit&run

he forgot to mention that once they charge into combat the banshees can then dart out of combat

@BeTheBe5t it´s not. You have your own basic 1 A... plus another 1 A because you have a "pistol" weapon and (any) close combat weapon...be it power weapon,powerfist, whatever... plus as always another 1 A when you charge something. Easy like that...

how does close combat work.. pleasr help me anyone who reads this. in the codex, they have 1 attack, do they get another attack for charging? or does having a pistol and power weapon count as 2 close combat weapons so they get +1 attack. so 3 attacks on the charge???? im so unbeleviably confused. please help me :/
