Armed with sandbags and strong backs, volunteers in the Edgewater Drive neighborhood in Coralville, Iowa, and the Normandy Drive neighborhood in Iowa City, Iowa, prepared for flooding from the rising Iowa River on Saturday, June 7, 2008, as outflows from the Army Corps of Engineers' Coralville Reservoir continued to increase after strong rains in recent weeks.   • I'm glad that I lived in the rich and up high up the hill side at te end of coralville

  • this is incredible... that was only 15,000 cf/s.... I can't imagine what will happen when we hit in excess of 40,000 as forecast.
