Suborbital Marines

My 3D animation final project depicting futuristic marines' ability to launch into space and land on anywhere in the world within minutes. I was inspired by an article from Popular Science about an actual USMC project called SUSTAIN - http://www.popsci.com/popsci/aviationspace/f2c1d65a5f59f010vgnvcm1000004eecbc...
The suborbital space craft models I created were based on designs by Peter Bollinger who did the illustrations for the Popular Science article.

im pissed that the old airforce symbol is on the wings instead of the eagle globe and anchor. i mean come on..... its the marines.....

It's the same logo the USMC uses on nearly all their aircraft.

Go ahead, find me a picture of a USMC aircraft that uses the eagle, globe, and anchor instead. I can wait. I would post links to pictures here but Youtube is being annoyingly stupid and wont allow me to post links. I'll try PMing some to you.

as for the Marine Corps

this is only one ground breaking weapon that they have.

they are currently experimenting with rail gun technology too and trying to implement it into tanks and small arms.

the USMC is and always will be the tip of the spear.

no matter how hard the US ARMY tries to modernize, they will never be as tough nor elite as the US Marine Corps

Because the Abrams isn't going to be replaced for at least thirty years? Can you name me the next American main battle tank in developement? The M16 has been around since the 1960s and it's still being used today? The SCAR isn't even being used yet and how long do you think that's going to be around for when you consider how long the M16 has been around? Clearly you have no idea about military tech developement. They take decades to be made and tested, and they take even longer to be replaced.

@bigguy677hotmailcom ...its the marine corps we cant afford shit lol all we get is the other services old broke ass shit...hell looks like were still using the same ol' abrams tank 43yrs in the future!! haha...i did love how the weapons floated up and started "flagging all the other marines" in the bird haha good stuff.. Marine Corps is next to never on the cutting edge im surprised we got the Osprey first...the digi camies i understand cuz we always want the best looking uniforms lol
