One can see every nationality and race playing in NE pipe bands, from Italians
to Germans, Blacks,and various Asians and English trying to enjoy themselves.
It isn't historical re-enactmant so much as it's celebrating Celtic misical tradition, making friends, and having a good time.

@Drona2001 i'm happy thanks, but it still doesn't change the fact that yanks have no idea how to do ceremony. i actually play the highland bagpipe and my family have been in the irish guards, which is a british army regiment, which the guys in this video are copying the uniform directly from. whenever i see american pipe bands they are either full of fat guys with sunglasses or people who don't know how to wear the kilt....
