This is a Black Forest Clock. My father was stationed in Germany during the Korean War and sent home several Black Forest Clocks in the early 1950's.....I have inherited the one you are showing here. It was put away for over 40 years and my husband just had it reconditioned for me. Hope this helps. Holley
