For the first single ever on Chess Records, Waters reworked Mississippi bluesman Robert Petway's "Catfish Blues" into a spare, spooky track he named "Rollin' Stone." "We wouldn't do it exactly like those older fellows," Waters said. "We put the beat with it, put a little drive to it." I never like to trash peoples playing or singing (especially if they are lovers of the lost art of blues) but I saw this video linked from a page showing the lyrics of this song. Many people have seen that same link and for some, THIS may be their first experience with this song....the playing is bad...the voice is bad. I hope people who could possibly form a love for the blues aren't put off from this version. Sorry if I offend fabriblues
