@BooNube Johnny Cash is good. Not my personal favorite but still good. Al Bundy, albeit a comedic character, is more or less the average American. Can I get a whoa Bundy?

@scottieman2 An indomitable soul. Something keeps him pushing on, he's got more balls than brain, but he's also got heart. I'm not an American, but as an outsider I'd seriously put Al Bundy up there as part of my perception of what makes a great American alongside Johnny Cash.

@AusMarkus He is a role model. He doesn't have a great car, he doesn't have the best job, no one respects him, makes less money then a dancing monkey, nothing goes his way. I am glad he's here because it shows the real life of Americans.

I actually did this for a college acting class a few years ago, without anybody knowing where it came from. That's how well-written it is. Of course, my performance probably paled in comparison to Ed O'Neill's, who is brilliant, but I did it anyway.
