*Kevin's POV*
I walked downstairs after a nap with Erica to see Elizabeth on the floor sobbing. "Oh my God. Liz, what's wrong?!" I asked as I bent over her and covered her shaking body with my arms. She didn't answer so I picked up the phone that was next to her. "Hello?" I said into the reciever. "Is this the Jonas residence?" asked the woman on the other line. "Yes. Who is this?" "I have been told to inform you that there is a Mr.Joe Jonas here. He was attacked by some kind of animal and has been rendered into a coma." she said and I hung up. I wrapped my arms tighter around Liz and helped her stand. I knew who had done this and I knew we had to leave once Joe got better. Which would be in about 3 days. "Mom! Dad! Erica! We need to go! Come on!" I screamed up the stairs and they all came running. "Honey, what's wrong?" asked my mom when she saw the state Elizabeth was in. "Joe's been hurt. We need to go to the hospital. Now. I'll call Nick and Pheonix in the car." I said and we all ran to the car. "But, you guys can't be hurt. Well, not easily at least." said Erica and I turned to her. "Darling, we can't be hurt easily, no, but we can be easily hurt by someone of our kind." I said and smoothed her hair. "So you're saying, another vampire did this?" she asked and I stiffly nodded as my dad floored it and we were on our way.

*Elizabeth's POV*
We got to the hospital and we all ran to the front desk. This was the second time I'd had to be in here because something happened to someone I loved. "We're here for Joe Jonas." said Paul and the receptionest pointed us to a door down the hall. We all walked in to see Joe in the bed. He had bandages and wires all over his body. I couldn't stand to see my Joe like this so I walked out of the room. I sat on the floor by the door and heard it open. I looked up to see Nick sitting next to me. "I'm sorry, Liz." he said and hugged me. "What are you sorry about? He's your brother. I should be the one saying sorry." I said and tried to dry my tears. "But I'm used to this. You're not. And you now being a vampire, puts you in a greater risk of this happening to you too." he said and I sniffled. "I'm going to kill the stupid vampire that hurt him. He's gonna wish he never hurt my Joe." I said and Nick chuckled. "I would pay money to see that." he said and Denise opened the door. "Liz, honey, Joseph's woken up. And he wants to see you." she said and I nodded. Nick and I stood up and took a deep breath as we walked into the room.

Joe-Elizabeth.

He tried to get up but I ran over to him and pushed him back down. A little too hard I guess because he slammed into the bed and groaned.

Liz-Oh my God! Did I hurt you?

Joe chuckled and took my hand.

Joe-No, darling. I'm just a little sore.

Liz-I love you, Joe. I can't stand it if something happens to you.

Joe-I'm just glad you weren't with me. If that vampire had layed a hand on you, I would have ripped his head off.

Liz-I'd rather see myself in that hospital bed.

Joe-No. Don't you ever say that. I wouldn't know what to do with myself if you were hurt. Elizabeth, you would be better off without me.

Liz-Joseph Adam Jonas, don't you ever say that. D-Don't say it ever again. Ever.

I took his face in my hands and gently kissed his forehead. He smiled at me and patted the spot next to him. I layed down and we both fell into a content sleep.
