@StandingRedPanda Besides that, looking a gorilla straight in the eyes for a long time is inviting him to fight you, since you're questioning his dominance by behaviour (also applies to quite some (cub-)cultures in human society).
I've seen this animal myself (at least his back, since he was sitting against the glass ignoring the apes at the other side) and he is massive.
To prove your post, the "victim" was quoted: "If I laugh at him, he laughs back". ;-)
