Something that I don't quite get about this show. I can understand if a contestant thinks that they themselves are great at singing, but surely they can just listen to how horrible every other contestant is and immediately see that something strage is going on here.

Not if you change the name, look, judges, and host. You'd be surprised how fast people forget things.

Hell, yes! It's too bad this show couldn't continue past one season. The gimmick would get too hard to cover up. It's kind of like Sacha Baron Cohen with his Ali G schtick. It can only go so long before everyone in the country realizes it's a joke. Then it stops being funny.
