@BugCrusher46 It's not a matter of who agrees. If you listen to what they're saying on the transmission, they're saying that they're going level the city unless the US troops pop green flares to show they're still combat effective. The Russians were taking over, and they were losing ground, so they were going to destroy the city to prevent them from gaining more ground. The countersign to show not to level the city was the green smoke to say they were still combat effective.

I think the Americans were going to carpet bomb the city or nuke it to prevent the Russians from taking it so Sgt.Foley and the rest of the US Marines or whatever used the flares to signal that the city was in American hands so the fighter jets would not obliterate the city! Who agrees?!
